I live in Michigan where the economy has already been just horrible for years, so the idea of the automakers closing is scary. Someone pointed out the other day that we survived the airlines going through bankruptcy a while back. I hate that it hurts local people, but I really don't want to see any bailout money coming our way. And don't get me started on cities asking for bailout funds! I agree with Melissa; the treasury is being looted (not that there’s any money to loot, they’re just printing it) before the party’s over. I just hope we can trust Obama to cut off the pipeline, period.

It is absolutely sickening!!!!! By the way, in the midst of all of this economic struggle some high ranking directors at national charities have given themselves raises as well!!! Meanwhile they have cut back on benefits to the populations they serve due to the financial crisis!!! Shouldn't they take a pay cut? It's a charity for God's sake!
