don’t drink the water — it’s spoiled

by jackie sheeler on December 23, 2008

so the US went and got itself a local superfund site and … nobody seems to be saying a fucking word about it. not on the front page of CNN, MSNBC, nothing.

well, i guess it is the south, after all. it’s only tennessee, alabama and kentucky whose water supplies are likely fouled beyond all hope of cleansing. did you know that coal slurry is more toxic than waste from a nuclear reactor?

look at this shit:

even though the EPA is monitoring toxins in the water and still claims the stuff is safe to drink, downstream fish are already dying. must just be a coincidence.

and as far as i can tell, the mainstream media hasn’t touched this one with a ten-foot pole.

why?

It would conflict with that “clean coal technology” everyone is always yammering about.
