This violent outburst at our largest military base might be an isolated incident or it might be the tip of the iceberg--the seething fear and loathing of war that our troops feel but have to tamp down in order to fight and endure. Major Hasan heard the horror stories from soldiers who'd been in battle, some of them repeatedly (I know a Marine who is on his fifth tour in Iraq/Afghanistan), and he couldn't take it anymore. Will there be more massacres by berserkers (as the most violent Vikings were known)? Have you and I done enough to stop the madness of sending our armed forces to kill and be killed where the US has no business and no hope of winning? Who can be confident that our President will, as promised, bring our troops home, not to mention escalate the war?

Isn't it odd when we see a movie based on a made up story and we think it's too ridiculous to be believable.

....then we pick up a newspaper.
