in brooklyn, the style is called “kicking ass and taking names” — he did it, and he did it well.
and it’s about time! bipartisan politics? our system ain’t ready for it yet. (and the two-party electoral-college system is SO frigging broken it may never be ready for something as radical as consensus for the sake of the common good. but that’s another post.)
so i watched Prez O’s weekly address today (something i don’t do very often; it’s been too depressing) and fell out of my chair.
