this is the first time i can remember recommending a product on this site. it’s THAT good:

not only that, but they provide some quite useful information on the site, such as how (and why) to recycle old bulbs.
the only thing they DON’T seem to have is a way to buy these bulbs, as they only do wholesale. i wish there was a link for online retail purchasing. maybe they can’t because they’d be playing favorites with their customers? i did a search and found some for sale on amazon and a couple of other sites, though the price (about $5/bulb) is the same as what i paid at the hardware store.
just make sure you’re getting the sunlite brand. there is REALLY a difference. really!
